Kalam sir born in 15 october 1931 in Rameswaram,tanil Nadu.facing lots of problems he completed physics and aerospace engineering.He spent the next four decades as a scientist and science administrator at the defence research and development organization(DRDO).His work on the development of launch vehicle and ballistic missile technology had earned him the name “missile man of India”.
Kalam sir also played a pivotal organizational,technical and political role in India pokhran II nuclear test in 1998.He was elected as the 11 th President of India in 2002.He was the recipient of several awards like Padma Bhushan,Padma vibhushan and Indias Greatest civilian award Bharat Ratna.

Dr. Abdul Kalam passed away on July 27, 2015, of cardiac arrest. He collapsed on the stage while delivering a speech at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong. His lastlecture was held on ‘Livable Planet’.his last words was” ‘Funny guy! Are you doing well?’
